Maryse Perreault, CPF PEI Treasurer and Gail Lecky, CPF PEI Executive Director recently attended the annual meeting of CPF NS.(September 25 and 26) It was held at beautiful Keltic Lodge in Cape Breton. Their guest speaker was Michel Samson, Minister of Arcadian Affairs who had a wonderful message about how the French second language population of NS supports the francophone people.
Tim Brown, Coordinator of French Program Partnerships, Department of Education and Early Childhood development also attended along with about 20 other delegates from across the province.
Gail Lecky did a presentation on Advocacy and Dave Wentworth (Past President of CPF NS) did a presentation on the importance of socialization in language learning.
