CPF was founded in 1977 by parents who wanted to ensure that children would have the opportunity to become bilingual in the Canadian school system. Originally a small group of concerned parents who met in Ottawa, CPF has evolved into a proactive national network with 10 Branch offices and some 150 Chapters in communities nationwide.

We’re parents, educators, and francophiles who want more opportunities to learn and use French for Canadian youth.
CPF PEI
Our PEI branch is fortunate to have dedicated, passionate and skilled employees as well as a Board of Directors.
Branches
CPF provincial and territorial Branches work with Ministries or Departments of Education, educational partners, and the public ensuring support for FSL education. They also create and organize French language activities for youth in their regions.
Chapters and Teams
CPF PEI is seeking new chapters. Municipal-level Chapters are the ground-level face and heart of our activities. Chapters are responsible for in-school activities, extracurricular programs, and local educational advocacy and promotion.
