CANADIAN PARENTS FOR FRENCH (PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND) WELCOMES MINISTER ROBIN CROUCHER
Canadian Parents for French – Prince Edward Island (CPF PEI) warmly welcomes the Honourable Robin Croucheras Prince Edward Island’s new Minister of Education. We look forward to working collaboratively with Minister Croucher to strengthen French Second Language (FSL) education and promote bilingualism across the province.
CPF PEI urges the Minister to prioritize FSL instruction as a strategic investment in the future of our province. High-quality FSL programs empower students to develop bilingual skills that enrich their personal and professional lives, reinforce Canada’s linguistic and cultural heritage, and support PEI’s economic growth by fostering a bilingual workforce. These programs also help build meaningful connections with our vibrant Francophone community.
“We encourage Minister Croucher to engage with education stakeholders across PEI to continue building momentum for FSL programming, and to identify opportunities for improvement through open, collaborative dialogue with all provincial partners invested in FSL education,” says CPF PEI. “Our network is committed to ensuring that every student—regardless of their background or where they live—has access to opportunities that foster success and encourage bilingualism.”
Together, we can ensure that French language learning remains a vital, accessible, and valued part of PEI’s public education system.
